It’s actually super duper easy to forget you’re even using all the energy you are, for myself it’s not a trouble refrigerating food, or charging a cellphone, or using a washer and dryer to… launder my clothes I guess. So I mean, I realized I didn’t have to leave my phone charging all night, I could just turn off the tap if it’s running and I don’t need it (this really doesn’t happen alot, but come on).
On a tangent, The other day a friend and I were thinking about what would happen if everyone just didn’t use any electricity at all, or any cars, or utilized airplanes. Now realistically, this won’t happen, but imagine how ginormous of a difference that would actually make, even if it was just one city that did that. Considering this stuff is accumulative, It’s definetely worth shaving off a little bit of usage here and there to affect the long run. Whooo
