Discussions Discussion Student footprints
Pablo López, May 2, 2012

Hey peeps, this is Pablo from Bernat de Sarrià (Benidorm, Spain). I’ve been talking part in the project for my Practical English class and I’m utterly astonished with the amount of carbon I give aut yearly - +12,000 kg! I first didn’t believe it, but now I’m truly eager to reduce this. I’ll be reading your comments for advice.
Peace+love!

Hey Pablo, I'm Nadia Shaheen from Cairo, Egypt, there are a lot of ways you can reduce your carbon footprint here are some:
    • Take a bus or car pool or even walk.
    • Recycle and/or reuse plastic and paper bags.
    • Turn off lights when not used.
    • Turn off AC if not needed.
    • Order once from outside rather than twice.
    • Try to purchase only the needed stuff and not stuff that you won’t use or will use only once.
    • Eat organic, rather than meat.

If we try these changes I’m sure we will make a difference. :)
