The more people you inspire, the more people will inspire you.”
I absolutely recommend you to read the book Start with why from Simon Sinek.

Great suggestion, Jorn. I'm also going to post Simon Sinek's TED talk.

Richard Brasnon, founder of Virgin Group, shares his unique insight into why Steve Jobs was an amazing leader. Here’s an excerpt from Sir Richard Branson’s article:

Leadership doesn’t have a secret formula; all true leaders go about things in their own way. It’s this ability to think differently that sets them apart…Whatever your [leadership] style, whatever your method, you need to believe in yourself, your ideas and your staff. Nobody can be successful alone - and you cannot be a great leader without great people to lead.”

In a 1997 marketing campaign for Apple, entitled ”Think Different”, Jobs said: ”Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently.” I am proud to say that, in the accompanying montage, he counted me as one of them.”

Navy Seal, Eric Greitens, talks about how he came to the realization that leadership is service to others.

I agree with Mr. Greitens. Overcoming fear and focusing on how to contribute to the success of people around you is a major factor in realizing your leadership abilities. I've found that this is aplicable to school, work, family and play. Great message.

Leading effectively could be as simple as sharing your story.
