The information is good however it needs a bit of more substantial information. (For instance; “How do you think you can change the society?”)

I like how you use light bulbs that save energy because that is the best you can do. well done and i think that life in a village would be very helpful for the amount of CF that someone uses.

Hello my name is Cristina and my house we eat meat but I like organic vegetables and sometimes even eat it. We also use energy saving light bulbs to use less energy and disconnect the mobile phone chargers when we’re not using. I think everyone should pollute less because it is good for the environment.

Hello, I do not use much contaminant transport because I live in the the city center, and I’ll go by walking most of the time. In my house we recycle we recycle paper, glass and plastic, but not organic wastes which I think would be good. We also use light bulbs to save energy.
I think people should buy more secondhand clothes whenever possible because it does not pollute, such as the manufacture of new garments.

Hi!I train all the days of the week because I do triathlon. That should us to go the the swimming pool or to the pavilion by car all the days. Actually we use a lot of petrol, because we travel 150 km per week more or less, but we go all in two cars to try save.
When I did the part of transport on the footprint page, I was very surprised, because my expense was the triple of the spanish average, and this made myself thinking: Vedra, the village where I live, must have more public transport, because, if all the people who train with me can go to the training place by a public bus, we can save the petrol what a car use in 100 km, five days per week! That’s incredible!
This kind of things must operate in all our country, a place where the sport it’s so important, becouse… How much people have the same situation of me? A lot of you, I think.

Hi! I always go to school by bus and I always try to use public transport when I have to go to the town centre or when I meet with friends, but the problem is that I can’t use it when I got to train (I do athletics) because I train in a village that is about twenty kilometres from where I live and the only way to go is using our car because there isn’t any bus that goes there. That is why I have got a “big carbon footprint” at the transport area of the survey, but what can I do if I have to train three or four times a week in a faraway village?

About the other areas, in my home we have got a “small carbon footprint” because we eat a lot of vegetables that are grown by my grandmother and we eat a lot of meat from animals that she breeds, so we don’t have to buy as much food as other families and this it’s absolutely a good way to save!

I think that to calculate our footprint is very useful for us to realize how much energy we waste in comparison with the average. With this method all the peolple that waste a lot can learn to reduce it and so they can do it.
This kit is quite good, although these calculations are not accurate because they are not made with the exact figures. But when is a mistake, this method shows it to you, so that you can correct it.
Besides. this test asks for things that are not made in your house ( for example jardin work, if you have not jardin), or we don’t have here, in our city (like railways)….but it doesn’t influence very much in the results.

Hi Lucia, I fully agree with you on how the calculator isn't made with exact calculations, because there 85 million people living in Egypt and 25 million in Cairo and more 85% of families in Cairo own at least one car (leaving out the 85 million Egyptians) and it has calculated very little in transportation and the traffic in Egypt is a killer. The problem in my opinion isn't the people that know about global warmin but don't care, it's that to many people are so uneducated that they don't know about the cause. I live in a country that has 85 million people and 90% are below poverty and 88.8% are uneducated and about 93% have never been told about global warming. The problem is that to many people don't know about global warming and this is increasing each year.

HI lucia, i agree with you that footprint program realizes how much energy we waste and here are some ideas for you to reduce your energy for example turn off the lights when your not using them, use less electricity, and walk or you could use public transportation. if you spread these ideas, footprint will be decreasing every year.

Hello! Where I live we do not have different container plastic, glass, paper and cardboardand organic matter. We only have one for all materials, so no recycling in my town, and from my point of view I think we should all be able to recycle because it helps the environment is healthier for everyone, allowing us to have recycled products that all can use without having to cut more trees to make paper, or performingmany energetic cost in producing glass or plastic. I want my neighbors and Itubieramos all containers, because we all like to provide some help to make our world better.
