Global Warming - A myth?

Moderated by Love Lyssarides
Hey guys! I'm new to this thing, but i would like to discuss a very important and interesting topic. Global Warming, is it really happening? Some people say it's a myth. What do you think? I'm pretty convinced this is all just a hype. What do you think?

This is some of the motives:

A desire on the part of the United Nations and its supporters to promote a system of world government or global governance.
A desire on the part of climate science researchers to attract financial support
A desire by governments to raise taxes
A desire on the part of left-wing political activists to promote an agenda described by Melanie Phillips as a “left-wing, anti-American, anti-west ideology which goes hand in hand with anti-globalisation and the belief that everything done by the industrialised world is wicked.
A desire on the part of conservative political leaders including Margaret Thatcher and Helmut Kohl to promote nuclear power while attracting the political support of Green groups
A desire on the part of leftwing individuals to garner financial gains for themselves through business dealings related to the global warming agenda.
A desire on the part of leftwing political leaders to promote socialism

Do you have proofs to add?
What do you think?

Yours,
L-dawg

Love.
I find your take on Global Warming fascinating. I don’t belive that Global Warming is a myth. it is a real thing, happening at this very moment.
However, it’s not a threat to the human race, nor to the earth as a whole.
Humanity has survived by adapting, and so it will. Most likely, space travel will be available on a global scale before the Earth becomes a boiling pot, or we will develop according to our new conditions, becoming either subterranean or creating out own, synthesized verion of the ozone layer.
Most importantly, we need to understand that the resources we utilize to cause Global Warming are running out fasther than the earth is. We will not be able to destroy the earth if we don’t have the means to do it, and those means are degenerating. Unless we find another way to pollute the planet, carbon emissions will decline.
Lastly, even if Global Warming continues and every single human dies, this will not be the end of the planet Earth. The Earth is built to last. It is a 4,550,000,000-year-old, 5,973,600,000,000,000,000,000-tonne ball of IRON. If life developed here previously, it can do it again.
All in all, Global Warming is not that big of a deal if if care about humanity or the planet Earth. It is only an issue that needs dealing with if we want to sate our own sense of gratification.
Sincerely, Isak
