You can use your car rather then an air plain while traveling. Yous can order local food from places around you rather than ordering Pizza or mcdonalds. You can also get one of those green cars to keep your enviorment safe while travelling.

hi Kristen, you can ride a bus to decrease the amount of carbon footprint because you will be with other people in the bus its better than taking your car alone and producing the same amount of carbon. You can also do carpooling like if your friends or your neighbors are going to the same place that you are going you could go together in one car.

For your long-term goal, i suggest you plan on buying a solar powered car, that is if it is affordable to you, of course. If not try using the metro while moving in your city, or a train (if available) while traveling.
