Climate change is caused by the use of fossil fuels,such as oil and coal.Mostly is human caused but we must remember that climate changes happened even before humans,so maybe human just light up the fire and caused new changes.Greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide have caused much of the observed increase in Earth’s temperatures in last few decades.In last 100 years this gasses increased for few times and this have significant influence on changes.So my conclusion is that climate change is mostly human caused and I sincerely hope that more people will include in protection of our planet.If you see plastic bags on the floor,don’t shame,pick you up and throw in the trash ;)

Most climate scientists agree the main cause of the current global warming trend is human expansion of the “greenhouse effect”1 — warming that results when the atmosphere traps heat radiating from Earth toward space.
Certain gases in the atmosphere block heat from escaping. Long-lived gases, remaining semi-permanently in the atmosphere, which do not respond physically or chemically to changes in temperature are described as “forcing” climate change whereas gases, such as water, which respond physically or chemically to changes in temperature are seen as “feedbacks.” For example water vapor, Carbon dioxide CO2, methane, chlorofluorocarbons, nitrous oxide.
On Earth, human activities are changing the natural greenhouse. Over the last century the burning of fossil fuels like coal and oil has increased the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2). This happens because the coal or oil burning process combines carbon with oxygen in the air to make CO2. To a lesser extent, the clearing of land for agriculture, industry, and other human activities have increased concentrations of greenhouse gases.
The industrial activities that our modern civilization depends upon have raised atmospheric carbon dioxide levels from 280 parts per million to 379 parts per million in the last 150 years. The panel also concluded there’s a better than 90 percent probability that human-produced greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide have caused much of the observed increase in Earth’s temperatures over the past 50 years.
They said the rate of increase in global warming due to these gases is very likely to be unprecedented within the past 10,000 years or more.

From all of above, I can only conclude that the climate change is real and it is happening. If you are going home from school and you see some trash, plastic bag - PICK IT UP! IT won’t be difficult for you, but for the world, for our planet it can mean alot.

Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather pattern over periods ranging from decades to millions of years.factors that shape climate are called climate forcings. For example solar radiations,variations in the Earth’s orbit,mountain-building and continental drift and also changes in greenhouse gas concentrations.
Climate change is caused by the use of fossil fuels,such as oil and coal which are used for heating homes,production of energy in industry and also for transport.All these substances produced during this processes are harmful for Earth.Let’s take for example acid rain,which cause damage to nature,in way of disrupting growth of trees and destroying forests,that is noticeable all over the world.Except acid rain problem there are also many others,such as garbage pollution.Garbage pollution causes production of many toxins that spread in air causing health problems for people.These are just some of the reasons why people can be considered as main cause for climate change.
We all know that climate change is real and it is happening,but it is interesting how we are doing nothing to stop it and there are lot of things we can do to prevent this climate changes and to help our planet.For example we ca ride a bike instead of using transport,is that is possible of course,we cant stop using electricity but we can use energy-saving lamps,etc..this are all little things we can do but they can cause dramatically better changes on earth,and to reduce garbage pollution we can use recycle system.

Hi! I recently joined this facebook page called “Hands Across The Sand” so i wanted to ask you, what do you think about that? This page is just one of the hundreds of others made in hope that people will finally become aware of our climate problems, care more about our planet and start making some changes. This page, for example, issues the problem of using dirty fuels when we can easily use clean energy. In my opinion we have everything we need to make this clean energy actually work, but the problem with people today, as well as before, is that they think that problems will just dissapear or they have this habit of distancing themselves from the environmental issues with the most often argument: “What can I as an individual do about this global problem? I probably won’t make any bigger difference if I start being environmentally friendly.” Well, guess what, all of a sudden everyone thinks that! And if everyone has this kind of a pessimistic approach we will never do anything. You don’t have to immediately start with replacing your dirty fuel with clean energy, start with anything that could help your planet and make a difference. So get up and start making small changes in your life that someday might ensure your children a better place to live!:)

An impact of various pollutants on urban ecosystem which is a big problem today and if we don’t take some action then we risk the future for our health and we might lose the battle against climate change. There are many evidences that we see today. I made a little search about other consequences.

Climate change is caused by the use of fossil fuels (coal, oil) for heating homes and business premises and for the production of energy used in industry and transport. This release of sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide helps acid deposition to occur. This acid then disperse over large areas because of wind patterns and fall back to the ground as acid rain and leaves a lot of damage on the Earth. For example, acid rains can often fall on trees and make them lose their leaves, damage their bark and disrupt their growth. By damaging these parts, it makes tree even more sensitive to diseases, extreme weather and insects. As a result, damages made on this forests are seen all over the world. Acid rains can also corrode modern buildings, cars, airplanes, pipes and other objects constructed with limestone. Secondly, the other big problem is garbage pollution. There are many different types of toxins created from it like carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane. Those compounds can easily spread in the air and cause problems for people when they breathing it in. As an addition, space has become an issue for people. There isn’t enough area for them to continue putting new used items. In fact, every year one American produces over 3285 pounds of waste and we throw away enough trash every day to fill about 63,000 garbage trucks.

In conclusion, no matter where you go and what you do, there are always influences of pollution on our climate. To prevent climate changes we should walk more or drive a bike whenever possible. To solve a problem of acid rains, we could turn off lights, computers, televisions and other electrical equipment when we’re not using them. To reduce problem of garbage pollution we should be getting into the habit of reusing and recycling products. We can also buy products that have little packaging. That can make a dramatic difference for our future by starting even today! And, yes, I am convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused.

Hello. My name is Nikolina and I’m from Croatia. The impacts on climate are really big in my country. For example, marine fish populations in the Adriatic sea are already showing significant fluctuations and changes in behaviour/migration patterns due to climate. It is expected that climate change will change the growing season and rearing time for farmed fish such as tuna. In some cases this may require adaptation, but in others, it may increase the potential for aquaculture. I think that my country should work on involving and engaging the public because they have already expressed a strong desire to help reduce emissions and work towards a better climate future. They should be engaged as critical actors in the effort to reduce Croatia’s impact on climate change and adapt as well.

Hi, I’m Janice and I think that climate change is really happening. I think it’s mostly caused by human activity because we’re burning fossil fuels A LOT. The released carbon dioxide makes the ozone layer weaker, making more UV rays reach the earth, where we live, making the temperature warmer. So, I’m convinced that climate change is real and it’s largely human caused. I think evidence like the temperature is getting LOWER will convince me that climate change isn’t real, but I don’t really think that evidence can change my mind that it’s not human caused, unless it’s really strong evidence.

Much like everyone in this discussion, you notice weather patterns change and the season even seem to be shifting from what I have been observing because the weather that we’ve been receiving has been very odd if I do say so myself . And of course humans are the cause of climate change. Everything has been adding up for so long and it’s finally taking effect after all these years. So it makes sense that humans are the cause for this change.

Hello! My name is Lonna and I am a student at Oakland High School. Through recorded data, it is clear that humans have impacted largely on climate change. The U.S. burns almost 20 millions barrels of oil a day. When oil is burned, gases are produced. These gases are pollutants and do not belong in the atmosphere. They weaken our ozone later, which protects us from harmful UV light from the sun, which alters the climate change we experience. The climate has had its peaks here and there in history before industrialization, but it has become obvious that the change is not natural and humans have definitely been a leading contributor to climate change.
