I feel as though sitting around on the computer, an energy consuming device, is counter productive in terms of conserving energy. I feel like this site itself is more of a want than a need in terms of conservation.

I don't think there is an alternate way to be able to share information about climate change and compare our energy consumption with other places in the world without consuming more energy. I think Jack has a point that using the computers does use energy but while we're using the computers to learn about conserving energy it will help us in the long run.

Think of all the alternative ways we can produce energy. Which methods could serve your community the best? How can we influence our communities to adopt more of these methods of producing energy that have a lower carbon footprint?

From what i ahve seen in my high school, if you have a phone that holds your music they dont use ipods anymore. In the future i think they will stop making ipods.
