Learning Objectives:
1. Define the factors that influence the Earth’s climate, how we know they affect the climate, and the greenhouse effect.
2. Understand the basics of climate modeling and sources of uncertainty.
3. Present the evidence that documents the influence of greenhouse gas emissions on climate using data from Earth’s ancient climate from ice core samples as well as atmospheric measurements since the Industrial Revolution.
