Ive noticed that where I live uses less energy than places with extreme heat or cold. We only heat our house a bit, and never use air conditioning. We do not have to drive very far to get anywhere either. I wasnt at all surprised that places like Alaska and Texas had higher footprints because of the weather, but was entirely surprised at how little of footprints some places in south america had.
