Discussions Discussion Food & hunger

Not only how we heat our homes or how we travel affect our carbon footprint. What we eat is also a huge impact. No one realizes the processes it takes to make food and how it gets to us. This is why shopping at a local market helps our carbon footprint. When we shop at a local market, the food we buy was not transported from smewhere else so we are saving that trip it takes for food to get to us. This link has more information on food and climate change. check it out!
