Hello, My name is Brittany! I live in the United States of America. When I found out that my class was participating in the carbon footprint challenge I was super excited!! I have always want to find out about how we can change global warming and save our beautiful planet. I strongly believe that the first step to changing the world is changing yourself. You can not expect others to live a envirornment firendly life style if you are not doing it yourself! This challenge has helped me realize that I need to start using less energy and help the enviornment more. My carbon footprint right now is pretty big and I want to fix that. I do not want my X1000 great grandchildren of the future to suffer because of my carlessness. I hope that if we change our ways now, we can make life in 3012 amazing because right now the futuristic people will die because of us!!!!! I hope we can all learn to change!!! GO GREEN!!!!!!

Youssef Zoheiry Hi Brittany, I agree with all the statements you have stated above, Because i think it is very important to think of the consequences of high carbon footprint and i agree with the idea of dealing with high carbon footprint but i think you should begin thinking of how to lower your carbon footprint so i think the most important thing know is to let everyone know the problems of high carbon footprints but i think it would be important to tell them how to decrease it. Some of the ways to decrease carbon footprint (you didn't mention above) is to buy food from local stores and to decrease the usage of cars like instead of going with your friends to the club with two cars you can only go with one or even walk and more ideas like this idea.

Hello Britanny, my name is Ahmed Bekhiet and I attend the American International school in Egypt. I totally agree with you, the first step of changing the world is changing yourself! Nobody wants their grand children to suffer, and in order to prevent them from suffering, we all have to work as a team so that we can reduce the amount of CO2 we produce. By reducing the amount of CO2 we will help prevent global warming. Reduce it by saving electricity, not buying things you don't need, riding bikes instead of cars and turning the electricity off if your not using it. As you can see there are many ways to reduce our CF.
