Discussions Discussion ISCFC Teacher Planning, Feb 2014
Ann S., April 14, 2012

Hi, Everybody:
My name is Ann Smart. I teach Environmental Science in New Orleans, LA, USA, and am VERY NEW to this program. I just heard about it last week and got registered as soon as I heard about it. My students will begin calculating their footprints on Monday. I think they will be in for a very rude awakening. They think they are doing well if they place a piece of paper into the recycle box in the classroom. I can’t wait for them to do the calculations and to see what students in other countries are doing for the Earth. Thanks for this program

Dear Ann, welcome to the ISCFC!

New Orleans is unfortunately becoming an epicenter of sorts for environmental crises of late; it will be interesting to see your students perspectives on these issues.
