Discussions Discussion Student footprints
Alexis Cross, April 30, 2012

Hello! My name is Alexis Cross and I attend North Adams High School. Our freshman class has recently participated in the Carbon Footprint Challenge.
When I first began to start the challenge I thought my carbon footprint would be so much higher than the average human. After each question it all started to build up, but it wasn’t even close to being higher than average. I could live in Poland!
I looked over at a friend’s cabon footprint and his was WAY more than average. His had already accumulated further than the average on just transportation and home which shows there is always room for improvement even if yours is low because we all have to work together.
I could always reduce my carbon footprint by riding a bike…if I can convince my dad to get me one.
Any other ideas?
