Let’s not forget excessive packaging. Even relatively small products are encased in a ridiculous array of plastics covers and zip ties. Why? So that the $1 toy gun you got for your nephew will be safe? Bottom line: We don’t need all of this packaging. Unnecessary packaging presents yet another problem. Every time we get a new phone, we also get all that packaging. We throw it away because there is no use for it. It’s so wasteful. Minimalism is quite a powerful thing, especially in packaging.
