I like it!!! It's very cool! And there you have the lyrics of the song:
Now the damage has been done
And this machine has begun on a path of destruction
    We need the medicine
    To reverse what's been done
Before this disease has destroyed everything we know
    Everything we know!

All we need is a reason (all we need is a reason)
All we need is right here inside us all

With our weapons drawn and all our resources gone
    We're facing extinction
The only antidote consists of blood, sweat, and hope
And a blueprint to save us from all that we've become
    All that we've become!

All we need is a reason (all we need is a reason)
All we need is right here inside us all
All we need is a reason (all we need is a reason)
All we need is right here inside us
    Here inside us all!

    Yeah!
    Oh

Now the gears they will fail to turn
    As the lights go out
And the sun will be all that burns on our way down
    (On our way down)
But right now we have to understand the problem
    And overcome!

    So arm yourself
    You'll mind your gun
    It's time to learn
    Accept what's done, and yeah
    Repair this destruction!

All we need is a reason
All we need is right here inside us
All we need is a reason (all we need is a reason)
All we need is right here inside us all
All we need is a reason (all we need is a reason)
All we need is right here inside us all
(All we need is a reason)
All we need is a reason
(All we need is a reason)
    Whoooaaaa
(All we need is a reason)
All we need is a reason
All we need is right here inside us
    Here inside us all!

I think that this project is very good for know about ecologyc. in my coutntry people have to think about it alot. I see that people don’t talk seriously about environment or recycle. in my school, people do things like recycle paper or using the light only when we need it. and we turn of the computers when we don’t use them too.

I agree with your opinion, but I think that every country needs to think about CO2 emissions.

Hello my name is Francisca and I live in Spain. I do not know if my ecological footprint is less than the average for Spain but I guess I am below average because I am quite aware of the serious problems that the environment suffers and recycle at home, close the tap while I brush teeth, I put the dishwasher when full, and my transportation is the bicycle or public transport, although this is also related to the place where I live, because if I lived in China for example would run my bike and ecological footprint would be minor and lived in an underdeveloped country like the Congo would be much lower because the houses do not have artificial lights or running water. I take care of the environment, but also know that many people do it and we can allget better.

In many homes in India we do not use running water for anything else except taking a shower. For all the rest we open the tap and fill a mug/vessel/bucket suitable for the purpose and use the water fairly conservatively.

Part of the reason is water is a scarce resource in India. The other part is habit inculcated by family training. Ofc i do see a little less of teh latter now!
  • Vittorio Masoni Vittorio Masoni Feb. 18, 2012
    You are absolutely right.
Family training is the main source of ways of life which reject wasteful practices— about anything, beginning with water. Schools, public policies and mass media are important, indeed. But as to consumption habits, nothing is as strong and lasting for the entire life as what we learn from year 1 on. Let us pass the message to our children and spread the concept worldwide that many people could live as comfortably as they do now even after they cut a good percentage of what they acquire- look at the garbage cans and closets of so many peoples on earth.
The productive system can well expand and create work opportunities by providing products and services for a lean society, rather than expand for making things for overfed people who equate consumption levels to well being.

I’m A. Sandovalin, since I met demi ecological footprint results, my good habits have improved ecological increased.
one thing that caught my attention was that the amount of CO2 that produced my feed was higher than pruducia my movement and my house.
I now try to adopt habits such as reusing and recycling paper, turning off lights, electronic devices when not’m using.
truly the realization of this study has amazed me since I checked the number of people who are willing has to do something to remedy this problem that affects us all.

Hello, my name is Irene and I’m from Spain. My carbon dioxide emissions are lower than my country’s average. I think we should be more concerned about this subject because it affects all of us. So we must do our best to solve this kind of problems. For example, we should use public transport more often or remember to turn off the lighs when we don’t need them. Bye ––––––––––––––––––––––––– Hello, my name is Rosa and I’m from Zaragoza (Spain). I produce more emissions than my country’s average. I’ll try to produce less carbon dioxide and reduce my carbon footprint. In order to do it, I’m going to recycle wathever I’m able to. I think it’s very important because if we keep on doing this, we will destroy our planet. Good bye –––––––––––––––––––––––––- Hi, my name is Lucia and I’m from Zaragoza. My carbon footprint is lower than my country’s one, not only on transport and purchases but also in house and food. I’m going to try to bring my own bags which are reusable. Despite of this fact I think that I can’t reduce more my carbon footprint because I usually recycle all packaging I’m able to. See you.

ISCFC (carbon footprint challenge) participants… here is an excerpt from a thoughtful article in The Scientist that discusses the indirect impact that climate change may have on human health.

The Coming Health Crisis
By Samuel S. Myers and Aaron Bernstein

Human activity is disrupting Earth’s climate, and the rising emissions of greenhouse gases are accelerating that disruption. (See “Our Changing Climate” box below) Some of the health consequences of climate change are straightforward: warmer temperatures, changes in the hydrologic cycle, increased ground-level ozone, and enhanced pollen production will increase exposure to heat stress, alter patterns of infectious disease, and compromise air quality.

However, we believe that there is another threat, one that is orders of magnitude more potent than those which have been emphasized to date. Here we argue that it is the indirect impacts of climate change—large-scale alterations to Earth’s natural systems—that pose the greatest risk to human health. These changes are curtailing access to water and to food and are undermining the very concept of stable homes, yet have received scant attention in the literature…”
