Ana Artiach, Feb. 16, 2012

Hello my name is Ana, I live in Spain. My Carbon foot print is lower than the average of my country in the transport but shopping, at home and the food has been fairly high. We can all help improve the environment starting with our cities caring for them and respecting the cleaning, doing the same in the environment where we moemos like school. some media that can be put are special containers for each type of container, forming campaigns to raise awareness, build partnerships, etc. .. together we can create a better world, you just have to participate. a greeting

Hello my name’s Andrea, I live in Spain and my carbon footprint has been high in relation to my country, in areas such as food and home, but in transportation and purchases, quite well, in my country is to take steps to reduce the impact , giving us lots of information and inviting us to be more ecological. A greeting :)

hello, my name is bea, I’m from Spain and my carbon footprint has not been very high relative to that of my country that on average is quite high. In my city, they are taking new measures to reduce pollution and promote environmental protection that I think use.

Interesting when i clicked on the burning wood one when i was putting in my data i noticed that it went up by using wood instead of a heater

This is a game called energyville. What you have to do is where you name your city and then you take items like natural gas, coal, and a dam and drag it into the city. Once you dragged in the items you move onto the next level. But it only goes up to level 2! Have Fun :)

Hi I’m Alexandra from NYC and my carbon footprint is 8878. It’s pretty high but lower than the average New Yorker. My main problem was that I fly to europe often to visit family. I always try to do the little things like turning off the lights when I leave the room, and we don’t own a car.

Here in Ohio, my carbon footprint was a little over 11,000 where my friend's was a little over 21,000. Here, our main problem is traveling. It is so hard to get anywhere by walking living in such a rural area

Hello ^.^
I’m relativley new here and have learnd…nothing.
Gys, is it just me or do we discuss and comment the same things all the time ? Seriously, that’s boring. Sure we should work for our planets future but
Get out and come with some own ideas that can make us live wihtout using fossil energy. Like new materials, energy or motors. That isn’t so difficult and it make this more fun!

O.K., here's a thought. I'm wondering about the general affluence of the area you all live in. Are any of you living in wealthy suburbs, or do some of you live in rural towns where people rely on manufacturing to make a living? I think if I had students in a suburb of Milwaukee or Madison, WI, the kids would have much higher footprints, because they would have more money to spend in general.

Can you tell me about the community efforts that are being made in order to become “greener?” What role are politics playing in your countries as we try to become less dependent on fossil fuels?
