Hello, my name is Alaska. My footprint is great because every day I have to take the car to go to class, because I live far away from my school. I live in an old house and not have the comforts of an apartment, for example, dual-flush toilets or water saving faucets. But in my family are very concerned and as far as possible we do what is best for everyone.
Hello, my name’s Nerea castro, I live in Spain, really, speaking in Galicia, and here are just recycled and abundant pollution in cities. These two things are the first that I think they should change, because it is easier and are the most harmful. It occurs to me a few things that we all could do to improve as sharing transportation, not littering the ground or the sea, separating the waste in our homes and try ahorar water spending.

Regarding the bulbs to low consumption I think it would be good to start on use in all homes. For now, the truth is they are quite expensive but consume less throughout the year. So get a little more respect the environment spending less energy and pollute the planet less. Besides these lights give a more natural light. I think that there would be good support from the government for these devices and not, as there are for other things that are less important, as is looking after the planet.
Hello! My name is Mary and I live in Santiago. I use energy saving light bulbs, water regulators on taps, I have dual-flush toilets in bathrooms, etc.. But my footprint is a bit too high because I use the car daily. Recently I use public transport more, but in Santiago, public transport is not very good and I reach home before walking than by bus. So while I try to use the car as little as possible, it is often inevitable.
My family and I do not pollute much, I think it’s because living in a village pollutes less and people are more accustomed to use other means other than electricity etc, for example (get hot or cold products, we consumed the products are cultivated and obtained naturally from the ground without going through factories…). The only drawback to be located away from the city which means using the car to move more to be we should take advantage of urban transporter which helps to avoid contamination and save on gas.
