Hello. I’m Giulia and I’m from Italy, Pisa. I have calculated my carbon footprint. I’m on the average of my country; but my carbon footprint at home is quite high. I’ll try to do my best to reduce my carbon footprint at home, especially with the shower.

I calculated my carbon footprint with my class to find that it was smaller than average compared to most Texans, but gigantic compared to the rest of the world! More than half of it was made up of carbon I emitted travelling, though! I’m hoping this will help, but, apparently, over long distances, travel by bus is the greenest way to go! The way it line up is: cars and planes are about equally bad, trains are better than planes, and buses are the best way of all! This has no bearing on international travel, but I’m hoping I can put these tips to use, ‘cause I love both seeing and preserving the world! :)

Hi, I am Natasa and I am from Croatia. This whole project is amazing, and I am glad I take part in it. :)
I took Carbon Footprint Challenge and was pleasantly surprised with my results. They were surprisingly low! I think it is because I live in a small town, behave quite responsibly and care about energy and money. Another reason is that small things can make me happy – friendship, the beauty of a sunset or a good book, so I do not need the most expensive electronic devices or brand name products to feel good.
My lifestyle will change in future but I hope my Carbon footprints will stay approximately the same, because I am eager to help preserve our environment.
