Discussions Discussion Fashion Design
Carla Bautís, Dec. 2, 2012

Hello! We Carla, Camila and Iria, and wanted to tell you about fashion design; We think that is the art of the application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories. We we learn a lot about this item, and fashion design is influenced by cultural and social latitudes, and has varied over time and place.
We saw a video on youtube that might explain better what we mean about fashion:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EHYkXl-qmA
But we wanted to focus more on the material that use the better fashion designers. They use natural materials such as wool, silk .. These materials are very useful for all year round, and besides, they have a wide variety and combinations of materials and a wide range of colors, designs and styles to choose from.
We love fashion, and everything associated with it, and we want to hear from designers who use recycled materials, plastic, etc., and inform us about it.
We found this page on clothing made with paper. It’s very original and surprising. Check it out:

One of the biggest means of communication that transmit information are the magazines; there are fashion magazines, especially women’s fashion, that we represent the style and idea of the designer as his talent and knowledge. Our favorite magazine is “Vogue”, published many years ago.
Visit our page Fashion Design: www.lookedgy.blogspot.com
We await your reply. Thank you very much!

    Hi girls!!

The making of fashion products is the use of large quantities of material … so if you use recycled feedstock, generates a double value and great savings.
I think it's important to help the environment. And what better way to recycle? Not only are we recycling with this type of design, but also innovate, and you can create really good stuff. Not only with other commodities if not previously used clothing.

I agree that the vogue is one of the most important international journals of fashion and you can learn a lot from it, even when there are many, to me, is one of the best, recommended to everyones fashion fans !

Anna Wintour is one of the leaders of the fashion industry. Editor-in-chief of American Vogue since 1988, she has successfully used the magazine to shape the industry, set trends and annoint
new designers. Here’s a neat interview from the Forbes news archive. But why are powerful business women so often labelled intimidating and mean?

From the interview it seems that she is a “firm” person. But people who are successful are always considered to be intimidating and mean, best example would be Steve Jobs. So I do not think it is a gender thing !

For Fashion’s Night Out, Anna Wintour Takes Tokyo

Vogue editor Anna Wintour came to Japan for the first time in more than 20 years to usher in Tokyo’s version of Fashion’s Night Out. The event, which she launched in New York two years ago, draws designers and shoppers to stores that stay open later and, they hope, ring up more sales. More than 400 retailers and all of Vogue’s top editors participated in Tokyo’s Fashion’s Night Out, and with designers such as Michael Kors, Christopher Bailey from Burberry and Alber Elbaz from Lanvin it is the biggest Fashion’s Night Out produced yet.

Can you believe someone uploaded a vid of her surrounded by autograph seekers and paparazzi?
