Space travel is a great invention. There is so much to learn and explore outside of this world. With space travel we can look for life on other planets (plants or animals) and maybe bring life to other planets. Space travel is a life long dream for some people and they would be very excited to go up into space and explore all of the possibilities. Also, space travel will add to advancements in technology due to constant studying. We could send space robots out into space to explore places we cannot get to or send them up there without a person even going.

Going to space is something many people have always dreamed of doing. Not only do people see it as a life-changing experience but it also opens new doors to technology and shows us what is actually happening in our Earth. There is always a possibility for new discoveries and going to Space definitely increases the discovery rate. We continue to find new things every day and hopefully we will even have new life here on Earth!

Traveling in space not only allows people to follow their ultimate dream of traveling in space, but it also opens new possible technologies to advance the population. In discovering other planets, not only will we have the options of finding life among other planets, but also we have the possibility of BRINGING life to other planets! Many things can come from unfamiliar planets, new life, new technological advances, and especially an abundance of new materials.

Space travel is really interesting thing. When I was young, I wanted to become an astronout. Now I still think that travel in space can be really exciting. For example, you are able to see your planet Earth from the space. In my opinion it is really cool:)

Human space flight is a very honorable thing for human history, because of all the human developments from millions years ago until today. I think it is a great thing to explore the universe, because we need to keep explore that way we can improve our technology better. However, human should also learn from the exploration in the universe, that how valuable is one Earth, people should protect them and keep this planet as long as possible, instead of destroy it.

Hello everybody. I am Eric from the USA and personally I think that the universe is very interesting. The advancements that we have been able to achieve in the past 20 years is nothing short of outstanding. The rover that was sent to Mars is a huge accomplishment for the US as well as the rest of the world because it means that we are beginning to understand life beyond planet earth. Who knows, maybe one of these experiments may lead to the discovery of something extraordinary, like extra-terrestrial life.

Maybe you're right, but we can't know (if it's real) what the extra-terreste will be able to do. And there is no oxygen on Mars, i don't want to leave with a space equipment all of my life.

I'm agree with Morgan Schepens but there is oxygen on Mars but not enough to breath !

There is evidence that there was once possibly a sustainable ecosystem on mars, but that's far past, and Mars is a rather dangerous place to settle now. A more likely subject in our specific solar system would be Titan, one of the many moons of Saturn. It holds the best conditions in our solar system for colonization.

Hi! I’m Mandy Chan from Taipei, Taiwan. I was watching the news on Curiosity on Mars, and our solar system has always fascinated me. The improvement of human technology allows us to send robot or cosmonaut to the empty space. The first human spaceflight was directed by the Soviet Union on April 12, 1961. This was a new milestone for human beings. Nowadays, space travel becomes very popular because of danger caused by global warming. Different countries began to compete with each other by sending astronauts into space. They felt the threat of the nature slowly destroying our planet, and hoping to find a new world. So you can say that space travel gives people hope, strength and faith. On this deteriorating Earth, people eagerly wanting to find a place that human generation can survive. Knowing that our planet is dying, exploring the unknown space gives us a chance. So space travel is a good influence to this rotten society.

China’s next space mission to be manned, will attempt to dock with space station module:

The Shenzhou 9 spacecraft will be launched aboard its Long March 2F rocket sometime between June and August. The astronauts will manually dock with the Tiangong 1 module that was launched last year and conduct scientific experiments while aboard, Xinhua said. It didn’t say how long the mission was supposed to last.

China completed its first such space rendezvous last year when the unmanned Shenzhou 8 docked with the Tiangong 1 by remote control. That was considered something of a breakthrough since early U.S. astronauts did so manually.

Space travel is an interesting topic. When looking at the NASA website there is a link to “space travel” and “picture of the day” of space related pictures.

A spaceship funded by Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, crashed during a test flight in West Texas. The accident, which industry officials said occurred on Aug. 24, is probably a huge setback for the aspiration of Mr. Bezos, for developing a dependable system for transporting tourists and astronauts into space. Bezos’ space company, Blue Origin, based in Kent, Wash., is developing a suborbital spaceship called New Shepard, which is to take off and land vertically for carrying people to the near edge of the space.

But I'm sure Bezos won't give up. The guy has shown time and again that he is determined.
